Mike Skinner set to return to Worthy Farm for the second year in a row
It seems like Mike Skinner is returning to Glastonbury Festival next year, only one year on from wowing crowds when The Streets closed the John Peel stage in 2019.
It was through an instagram post promoting his recent collaboration with Chris Lorenzo, ‘Take Me As I am’, that the frontman self-announced his return to Worthy Farm for the festival’s landmark 50th anniversary.
The post read: “the first person to name all the legends in this video will be my guest at Glastonbury 2020 when I go back to back with @chrislorenzo66 !!! repost this video & write the names underneath on your feed. include #takemeasiam so that we can find you!!!”
We don’t know all the details yet, as of course no official announcements have been made, however, we’re certainly VERY excited by this news.
The excitement continues to rise as Glastonbury Festival slowly draws closer and closer, staggeringly, tickets sold out in just 34 minutes and an additional 50 tickets were snapped up just days later.
Trust us, If Mike Skinner can perform just as well and with as much energy as he did in 2019 then we’re all in for a very special treat!
Have you got your ticket for Glastonbury Festival’s 50th anniversary (24-28 June 2020)? Let us know in the comments just how excited you are!
